LEED Credits abound with Natural Sound Abatement ecoMaterial

LADY’s Oeko-tex certified SAFE, Soft Touch ecoWools are in addition to being LEED rated as low emissions and rapid renewal materials; they can also improve indoor air quality, compared to synthetics, because they “have the ability to absorb sulphur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide and formaldehyde (and not re-emit)” An additional add-value benefit; The Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) has determined that textile-based products certified according to the Oeko-Tex Standard 100, comply with the lead content limits specified in the Consumer Products Safety Improvement Act, a new federal law that goes into effect in August 2011.
